The F1–inspired 4.0-litre V8 engine produces 420 hp and, with a maximum engine speed of a remarkable 8,400 rpm, it powers the new M3 Convertible from 0-62 mph in just 5.3 seconds.
The innovative, seven-speed M Double Clutch Transmission (M DCT) with DRIVELOGIC, available as an option, provides uninterrupted power delivery and instantaneous gear changes. The already exhilarating performance is further improved (0-62 mph in 5.1 seconds), whilst lowering CO2 emissions and increasing fuel efficiency.
